Overview

Recruitment website design for both sides of the hire

Recruitment website design has two audiences pulling in different directions. Candidates want to find a relevant role and apply without creating yet another account. Employers want proof that you understand their sector and a quick way to brief you on a vacancy. We build sites for recruitment agencies, staffing firms, executive search practices and placement consultancies, and full portals with employer accounts and paid listings for job platform founders.

Most agency sites carry an out-of-date jobs page, a generic 'submit your CV' form and a client section that says little beyond 'we find great talent'. A better site offers live jobs from your ATS, a short application path, a page for each sector you recruit in and a vacancy form a busy hiring manager will fill in. We build websites, not shortlists: your consultants do the recruiting, and the site keeps the pipeline full on both sides.

One team

Recruitment website design and recruitment web development together

The site has to attract candidates and win clients at once. We plan both journeys and build them as one system.

Design

  • Separate candidate and employer journeys from the homepage onward.
  • Job search design with filters for location, function, experience, salary band and work mode that stays usable on a small screen.
  • Job listing templates that put the role, pay range where you publish it, location and key requirements above the description.
  • Sector and specialism pages for your desks, so a hiring manager in IT, manufacturing or healthcare sees their own market reflected.
  • Consultant profiles with specialism and direct contact, because people trust a named recruiter more than a logo.

Development

  • Job feeds pulled from your ATS or posted through a CMS, each with JobPosting schema so listings can appear in Google's job results.
  • Short apply flows with resume upload, parsing where your ATS supports it, and an option to apply without registering.
  • Employer vacancy forms and client logins where needed, so briefs arrive structured and are tracked through to placement.
  • Job alerts by email or WhatsApp, based on the searches candidates save, with clear unsubscribe and consent records.
  • Fast, accessible builds on Next.js or WordPress, tested on mid-range phones, since most candidates search on mobile.

Our designers and developers sit on the same project from day one, so the apply flow you test in the prototype is the one candidates use at launch.

What we build

Recruitment agency website design services

Six things we build for recruiters, staffing firms and job platforms. Agencies usually need three or four; portals need most of them.

  • Recruitment agency websites

Specialist sector pages, consultant profiles, candidate and client journeys and a live jobs section, built for agencies of any size.
  • Job boards and listings

Job board web design with search, filters, saved searches and listing pages marked up for Google, fed from your ATS or managed in the CMS.
  • Applications and resume upload

Short apply forms with CV upload, screening questions per role and confirmation messages, so more candidates finish what they start.
  • Employer accounts and job portals

Job portal website design and builds with employer sign-up, paid or free postings, applicant dashboards and moderation tools for your team.
  • ATS and CRM integration

Two-way sync with Bullhorn, Zoho Recruit, JobAdder or your system, where it has an API.
  • Redesign & maintenance

Moving an ageing agency site to a faster platform without losing rankings, then ongoing updates and new sector pages.

Jobs & applications

Job search, applications and employer briefs that keep moving

Recruitment sites lose people at the search, the apply form and the client enquiry. These four areas fix that.

Listings Google can show

Every live job carries JobPosting data, and expired roles come down promptly so listings stay eligible.

Apply in a few taps

A resume upload, a handful of fields and optional screening questions. No forced account, no retyping the CV into a dozen boxes.

One pipeline, not three inboxes

Applications and vacancy briefs flow into your ATS or CRM with the role, source and consultant attached, ready for screening.

Alerts that bring candidates back

Candidates save a search and get matching roles by email or WhatsApp, so one visit becomes an ongoing relationship.
  • JobPosting schema on every live listing
  • Search filters that work on a phone
  • Apply without creating an account
  • Resume upload with ATS sync
  • Employer vacancy form routed to the right desk
  • Saved searches and job alerts with consent

What a recruitment website needs

The pages most agencies and staffing firms need. A job portal adds employer and candidate accounts on top; we scope it to your model.

Home
Two clear doors, one for candidates and one for employers, with a job search box and your specialisms in view.
Job search
All live roles with filters for location, function, experience, salary band and remote or on-site work.
Job detail
Role summary, requirements, pay where published, the consultant handling it and a short apply form.
Sectors & specialisms
One page per desk explaining the roles you fill, the market you know and recent example vacancies.
For employers
How you work, fee models if you publish them, the services you offer and a structured vacancy form.
Candidate resources
CV and interview advice, salary guides you produce, and how you handle a candidate's data.
Our team
Consultant profiles with specialism, languages and direct contact links.
Contact & offices
Branch addresses, phone and WhatsApp numbers, and separate routes for clients and job seekers.

Google for Jobs

Getting your vacancies into Google's job search

Many job seekers search Google for something like 'accountant jobs in Ahmedabad', and the jobs panel appears above any website link. Listings get there through JobPosting structured data on the job page. Vacancies listed only as a PDF, or inside a widget Google cannot read, miss that panel entirely.

We generate the markup from your job data: title, location or remote status, employment type, pay where shown and a closing date. When a role closes, the page is removed and Google is told through its Indexing API, which supports job pages. Correct, fresh markup is the price of entry.

Placement agencies and job portals

Placement agency websites and job portal builds in India

Placement agencies in India often recruit at volume, for freshers, plant staff, retail, BPO and field sales, frequently in Gujarati and Hindi as well as English. They need a registration form that works on a basic phone, walk-in drive notices, WhatsApp contact and a page per branch.

Job portal founders need employer accounts, posting plans, candidate profiles, resume search, moderation and an admin panel. We build both, with consent at sign-up, limits on who can view a resume, and deletion on request. India's data protection law applies to this information, so your own legal adviser reviews the privacy policy and consent wording before launch.

Why choose Raqbash as your job portal development company

4.9 rated in Ahmedabad on Google Reviews
  • Both sides of the market

We plan candidate and employer journeys separately, then make sure they meet cleanly in your pipeline.
  • Jobs that are findable

Structured data, fresh listings and clean job URLs are part of every build, not an optional SEO add-on.
  • We work with your ATS

We read your ATS documentation early and tell you plainly what can sync, what can't and what the workaround is.
  • Careful with candidate data

Resume files are stored securely, access is limited by role and retention follows the policy your team sets.
  • Designed for the phone first

Search and apply flows are designed and tested on ordinary handsets, where most job seekers actually browse.
  • Consultants can run it

Your team posts jobs, edits sector pages and publishes advice without a developer. We train them and stay on call.

Sectors

Recruitment businesses we design websites for

Staffing agency website design changes with the kind of hiring you do. These are the six models we build for most.

  • Generalist recruitment agencies

Several desks under one brand, with sector pages, a shared jobs board and routing to each team.
  • IT & tech staffing

Contract and permanent roles, skill-based search and quick apply for developers who hate long forms.
  • Executive search firms

Discreet, partner-led sites where confidential briefs matter more than a public jobs list.
  • Industrial & volume staffing

Shift work, plant roles and walk-in drives, with multilingual registration and WhatsApp contact.
  • Healthcare & specialist staffing

Credential checklists, location-based search and fast shortlists for nurses, technicians and allied roles.
  • Niche job boards & portals

Employer accounts, paid postings, candidate profiles and admin tools for founders running a platform.

How we work

Our recruitment website design process

Six steps from kickoff to launch. Step four is where we run real applications and job feeds through your ATS before candidates arrive.

  1. Step 01

    Discover

We learn your desks, your ATS, where candidates come from today and what clients complain about in the briefing process.

  2. Step 02

    Design

We design the job search, listing, apply and vacancy flows first as clickable prototypes, then style the rest of the site.

  3. Step 03

    Build

We build the site and CMS, set up job templates with schema and connect forms, alerts and analytics.

  4. Step 04

    Test applications & feeds

We post test jobs, apply from several phones, check resumes and briefs land in the ATS correctly and verify the structured data.

  5. Step 05

    Launch

We redirect old job and page URLs, submit sitemaps, connect the Indexing API and monitor applications closely in the first weeks.

  6. Step 06

    Support

We add sector pages, adjust filters, keep integrations working through ATS updates and report monthly on applications and briefs.

Cost & timeline

Recruitment website cost and timeline

Three common scopes, from an agency site to a full job portal. Each gets a fixed-scope quote before work begins.

Recruitment website cost and timeline
ScopeWhat's includedTypical timelineWhat drives costPrice
Agency websiteHome, sectors, for employers, for candidates, team, contact and a CMS-managed jobs list with schema. Basic SEO.4–6 weeksNumber of sectors, copywriting, branchesFrom ₹40,000
Jobs board with ATS syncEverything above, plus live jobs from your ATS, filtered search, apply with resume upload, job alerts and vacancy forms.8–12 weeksATS API, filters, alert channelsFixed-scope quote

Integration access often sets the pace. ATS vendors can take a while to issue API keys, so we request them in the first week while design is under way.

Every project gets a fixed-scope quote in writing before work starts.

FAQ

Recruitment website design FAQs

Questions agency owners, staffing directors and job portal founders ask us about cost, ATS links, Google for Jobs and candidate data.

How much does recruitment website design cost?

An agency website with sector pages and a CMS-managed jobs list starts from about ₹40,000. A site with live ATS jobs, filtered search, alerts and resume upload costs more, and a full job portal with employer accounts and paid postings more again. Your fixed-scope quote follows a short call about your ATS and sectors.

How long does it take to build a recruitment website or job portal?

An agency site usually takes four to six weeks. A jobs board with ATS sync takes eight to twelve weeks, and a job portal platform fourteen to twenty-two. ATS access and content for sector pages tend to set the pace, so we line both up at the start.

Do you do both the design and the development, or are you only a job portal development company?

Both. The same team does the recruitment website design and the recruitment web development. Designers plan the journeys; developers build the job board, apply flows and integrations. Agencies hire us for sites with jobs, founders hire us as a job portal development company, and both get one team and one quote.

Should we use WordPress with a job board plugin or a custom build?

A WordPress job plugin suits a small agency posting roles by hand. If jobs come from an ATS, or you are building a portal with employer accounts and billing, a custom Next.js build stays faster and more secure. We suggest one after we see your ATS and volume.

Will our jobs appear in Google for Jobs and rank in search?

We make every listing eligible with valid JobPosting data, fresh dates and prompt removal of closed roles, and build sector pages that can rank for searches like your specialism plus city. Google decides what shows for a given search, so nobody can guarantee a result.

Can the website connect to our ATS, such as Bullhorn or Zoho Recruit?

Usually, yes. Most modern ATS products offer an API or a job feed. We pull live jobs onto the site and push applications, resumes and vacancy briefs back with the source attached. If there is no API, jobs can be posted in the CMS and applications sent by email.

How do you handle candidate data and resumes?

Resumes sit in secure storage, not email attachments. Access is limited by role, consent is recorded on application, and files are deleted on request or when your retention period ends. Privacy law, including India's data protection rules, applies to this data, so your legal adviser reviews the privacy notice and consent text before launch.
