Overview

Music website design that works for fans and bookers

Music website design has two audiences at once. Fans want to hear the new release, see where you are playing next and buy a shirt. Promoters, festival programmers, labels and journalists want a bio, hi-res photos, a stage plot and a booking contact in under a minute. We design and build for both, and our artist website development covers singers, independent bands, DJs, composers, film and production houses, OTT creators and podcasts in Ahmedabad, across India and abroad.

Social profiles and streaming platforms are rented space. An algorithm change can cut your reach overnight, and none of them hands you your fans' email addresses. A website is the one address you control: it grows a mailing list, sells merch on your own terms and gives search engines one authoritative page for your name. We build the website; the music, the films and the episodes stay yours, and so do the rights to them.

One team

Music website design and artist website development, one team

An artist site has to feel like the record and still behave like a shop and a press office. We design the feel and build the machinery together.

Design

  • Visual identity carried over from your current release, film poster or show art, so the site looks like part of the campaign rather than a template.
  • Page structure planned around the people who visit: fans on phones after a gig, bookers on laptops, and press looking for one download link.
  • Layouts that let audio and video lead without autoplaying sound or burying the tour dates below a giant hero image.
  • A release-page pattern you reuse for every single, EP, album, trailer or season, so launches don't need a redesign.
  • Typography and colour that stay readable over dark, moody photography.

Development

  • Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud and Bandcamp embeds that load only when tapped, so the page stays fast.
  • Tour and event listings fed from Bandsintown or a simple CMS list, with ticket links and MusicEvent schema for search.
  • A merch store on Shopify or WooCommerce with Razorpay or Stripe, including size variants, pre-orders and bundles with music.
  • Mailing-list signup tied to Mailchimp, Brevo or your tool of choice, with pre-save and early-access forms for new releases.
  • Next.js or WordPress builds with a CMS your manager can update between shows, and clean markup for your artist name.

The designer who shapes the look briefs the developer on the same project, so the release page you sign off is the page fans actually see.

What we build

Artist and entertainment website services

What we build for artists, studios and shows. Most projects mix three or four.

  • Artist and band websites

Home, music, shows, videos, about and contact for solo artists and bands, built so a new release takes minutes to add.
  • Electronic press kits

A private or public EPK page with bio versions, hi-res photos, rider, stage plot, press quotes and one-click downloads.
  • Merch and music stores

Apparel, vinyl, CDs, digital downloads and bundles, with stock tracking and shipping rules you control.
  • Film and production house sites

Showreels, project pages, trailers, festival selections, crew credits and a contact path for commissioners and distributors.
  • Podcast websites

Episode pages generated from your RSS feed, show notes, transcripts, guest pages and links to every major listening app.
  • Redesign & maintenance

Rebuilds of tired artist sites that keep your search presence, plus release-day updates, show listings, backups and patches.

Press & fans

Press kits, streaming and tour dates that do their job

Most entertainment sites look fine and convert badly. These four areas decide whether a visit turns into a booking, a stream or a sale.

An EPK bookers can use

Short and long bios, approved photos with credits, technical rider and contact details on one page.

Streaming that doesn't slow the page

Players load as light placeholders and swap in the real embed on tap. Listeners still hear the track, and the page stays quick on mobile data.

Shows people can act on

Every date shows the city, venue, ticket link and status, on sale or sold out. Past shows move to an archive automatically.

A fan list you own

Email and WhatsApp opt-ins, pre-save campaigns and early ticket access, so you can reach fans without paying to boost a post.
  • Streaming links for every platform you release on
  • Electronic press kit with downloadable assets
  • Tour dates with ticket links and event schema
  • Merch store with your own checkout
  • Mailing-list signup on every page
  • Video embeds that don't block page load

Film & production houses

Film website design for studios, directors and releases

A production house sells taste and reliability. Film website design for a studio puts the showreel up front, then lets a commissioner filter work by format: feature, documentary, ad film, music video or branded content. Each project page carries the logline, stills, credits and where to watch, so a distributor or brand manager gets the full picture without asking.

A single film needs a different site. A release site runs on dates: trailer drop, festival premiere, theatrical or OTT release. We build it around the trailer, a synopsis, cast and crew, screening listings and a press area with posters and stills cleared for use. After release, it becomes the film's permanent home, with links to wherever it streams. Licensing for clips, music and stills is the producer's call, and we only publish what you have cleared.

Bands and podcasts

Band website design and podcast website design

Band website design has a quirk that solo-artist sites don't: several members, several voices and often several opinions on what goes on the homepage. We give each member a short profile, keep one shared calendar of shows, and set up CMS roles so the person who handles bookings can change dates without touching the store.

Podcast website design starts from the RSS feed. New episodes appear on the site automatically with their own page, show notes and a player, and we add transcripts where you have them, which helps both search and accessibility. Guest pages, a listener mailing list and a sponsor page turn a feed into a show people can find on Google, not only inside an app.

Why Raqbash

Why choose Raqbash for entertainment website design

Plenty of agencies can make a dark homepage with a big photo. What matters is whether bookers, fans and press each find what they came for.

4.9 rated in Ahmedabad on Google Reviews
  • We design around releases

Your site follows your release calendar. We plan pre-save, launch-day and post-release states so every drop has a proper home.
  • Press kits that save emails

We structure the EPK around the questions promoters actually ask, so fewer bookings stall on a missing photo or rider.
  • Fast with heavy media

Lazy embeds, compressed artwork and video posters keep pages quick even when every section has sound or motion.
  • Your store, your customers

Your checkout, your customer list and payments straight to your own account.
  • Built to be the official page

Artist and organisation schema, clean metadata and links from your profiles help search engines treat the site as the official one.
  • Your team can run it

Managers, members and assistants get CMS logins with sensible limits, and we train them before launch.

Sectors

Media and entertainment businesses we build for

Each part of the industry reaches its audience differently. These are the six we work with, two of them with pages of their own.

How we work

Our artist website development process

Six steps from first call to launch. Step four is where we test every player, ticket link and checkout against a real release.

  1. Step 01

    Discover

We go through your catalogue, upcoming releases or productions, current links, store and who handles bookings and press.

  2. Step 02

    Design

We design the home, release and shows templates first as clickable prototypes, then the press kit and store.

  3. Step 03

    Build

We build the site, load your back catalogue, connect the store and mailing list, and set up CMS roles.

  4. Step 04

    Test media & launch paths

We play every embed on several phones, click every ticket and streaming link, and place test merch orders before anything goes live.

  5. Step 05

    Launch

We time go-live to a release or announcement where possible, redirect old URLs and update the links in your bios.

  6. Step 06

    Support

We add releases, shows and products, keep plugins patched and send a short monthly note on traffic, signups and sales.

FAQ

Music and media website FAQs

Questions artists, managers, studios and podcasters ask us about cost, streaming, stores and search.

How much does music website design cost?

An artist starter site with music, shows and a mailing list starts from about ₹40,000. Adding a press kit, a store and release campaigns costs more, and label or production house platforms more again. The price moves with the size of your catalogue, how much you sell, and whether we host video or embed it. We confirm a fixed-scope quote after one short call.

How long does an artist website take to build?

A starter site usually takes three to five weeks. A site with a press kit and store takes six to nine, and a studio or label platform ten to sixteen. Have a release date? We plan backwards from it and agree which pages must be live on the day and which can follow.

Do you do both the music website design and the artist website development?

Yes. One team handles the music website design and the artist website development. Designers shape the look and the release, shows and press-kit pages; developers wire up streaming embeds, the store, the mailing list and the CMS. You have one contact and one quote, and the site you approve is the site that launches.

Should my artist website be on WordPress, Shopify or something else?

If selling merch is the main job, Shopify handles stock, variants and shipping well. If you post often and sell a little, WordPress with WooCommerce is flexible and easy for a manager to edit. For a label or production house with many artists or projects, a Next.js build with a headless CMS stays fast with heavy media. We recommend one once we know what you sell and who updates the site.

Will my website rank when people search my artist or band name?

For your own name, a well-built official site stands a good chance, but no one can promise it. We add MusicGroup or Person schema, clear titles, a page for each release and a link to the site from every profile you control. Ranking for wider phrases, such as a genre plus a city, takes ongoing content and press coverage over months.

Can you embed Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube without slowing the site?

Yes. Each player shows as a light preview with artwork and a play button, and the real embed loads only when someone taps it. That keeps the first load fast while still letting fans listen on the page. We also add plain links to every service, because some listeners prefer to open their own app.
