Overview

Investment App Development Company in Ahmedabad

An investment app helps people invest for the long term in mutual funds and similar products: a risk profile, goals, SIPs on AutoPay and one view of every holding. Raqbash builds investor apps and adviser workspaces for mutual fund distributors, SEBI-registered advisers and wealth platforms.

Your registration shapes the app. A distributor registered with AMFI offers regular plans and earns commission; a SEBI-registered adviser offers direct plans for a fee. Each follows different rules on advice. We fit screens, plan types and wording to yours, and show no projected or promised returns.

Key features

Key Features of an Investment App

Six features keep an investor's SIPs running for years instead of months.

  1. Risk profiling that stays on record

A short questionnaire sets a risk category, with answers and version stored so suitability can be shown later.

  2. Goals tracked by money invested

Goals measure contributions against a target. Any illustration uses an assumed rate your firm sets, clearly labelled.

  3. Scheme pages with the riskometer

Category, riskometer level, plan type and scheme documents, from published data, without ranking any fund as best.

  4. SIP mandates set once

UPI AutoPay or eNACH approved inside the app, with each instalment's debit and units visible.

  5. Every holding in one view

External funds import from a consolidated account statement or, where your firm participates, through Account Aggregator.

  6. Order and NAV status

Payment, exchange submission, applicable NAV and allotment for every purchase, so nobody calls to ask.

How it works

How an Investor Starts a SIP in Your App

Starting a SIP takes five steps, and the scheme's risk level is visible before any payment.

  1. Step 1

    Complete KYC

KRA check, or fresh KYC with eSign.

  2. Step 2

    Answer the risk profile

Six questions, stored with the result.

  3. Step 3

    Pick a goal

Amount and year, set by the investor.

  4. Step 4

    Start a SIP

Choose scheme and date, approve the mandate.

  5. Step 5

    Track holdings

    Units, statements and imported funds.

Security & compliance

Security & Compliance for Investment Apps

An investment app holds identity and holdings data for years, so access is limited, every change is logged and advice records stay intact.

  • Masked identity data

PAN, bank and nominee details masked on screen and encrypted at rest.
  • Advice and approval records

Risk profiles, suitability notes and transaction approvals stored in order, ready for audits.
  • Role-based workspace

Distributors see only their mapped clients, and every view is logged.
  • Biometric login with device binding
  • Investor approval on every transaction
  • Certificate pinning on exchange and AA calls
  • Hosting in an Indian cloud region

FAQ

Investment Mobile App Development Services in Ahmedabad: FAQs

Practical answers for teams planning an investment app.

Do we need to be an AMFI distributor or a SEBI adviser?

Yes, to transact for clients you need one of these. Distributors hold an AMFI registration and offer regular plans; SEBI-registered investment advisers offer direct plans for a fee. Rules on advice and fees differ, so the app's wording and plan types follow your registration. Your compliance officer confirms the model; Raqbash is neither.

Can the app place orders through BSE StAR MF or NSE NMF II?

Yes. Both exchange platforms offer APIs for purchases, SIPs, redemptions and switches, which we integrate using your own member or distributor credentials. Order, payment and allotment status then flow back into the app. Some firms also use RTA APIs for certain transactions, and we can combine both where your arrangements allow it.

Can investors import funds they bought elsewhere?

Yes, in two ways. The investor can upload a consolidated account statement, which the app parses into holdings. If your firm is a regulated financial information user on Account Aggregator, holdings can arrive by consent instead. Imported funds are shown for tracking until the investor chooses to transact through you.

Will the app show projected returns?

No projected or promised returns. Goal screens track money invested against a target. If you want an illustration, it uses an assumed rate your firm sets and says plainly that it is illustrative and not guaranteed. Past performance appears only as published scheme data with its required disclaimers, approved by your compliance officer.

How do SIP mandates work in the app?

The investor approves one mandate, through UPI AutoPay or eNACH, with a maximum amount and an end date. Each month the platform triggers the debit, and the app shows payment, NAV date and units allotted. If a debit fails, the investor gets a reminder and can pay that instalment once by UPI.

Can our relationship managers use the app too?

Yes, through the workspace. Managers see their mapped clients, goals and holdings, prepare transactions and send them to the investor for approval in the app. Every view and change is logged by person. What a manager may recommend depends on your registration, and the workspace is built to respect that boundary.

How much does an investment app cost and how long does it take?

Typically ₹12–20 lakh over 12–18 weeks for an investor app with KYC, risk profiling, goals and SIPs through an exchange mutual fund platform. A wealth platform with an adviser workspace, holdings import and several products usually costs ₹22–40 lakh over 5–8 months. You get a fixed quote after a free scoping call.
