Overview

Church website design that welcomes people before they arrive

Church website design is often the first welcome a newcomer receives, long before anyone greets them at the door. We design and build websites for parishes, independent churches, Hindu temples, Jain derasars, gurudwaras, mosques and faith trusts, and our church website development covers service and darshan timings, events, live streaming, sermon archives, online giving and puja or seva booking. Communities in Ahmedabad, across India and in the diaspora abroad use these sites to stay connected between gatherings.

People visit a place of worship's website with simple questions. What time is the service or aarti today? Is there parking? Can I watch from home? How do I make an offering or book a puja? When those answers are buried in an old social media post, families give up or ring the office at its busiest hour. We write and build with respect for your tradition and your community's language, and we leave matters of faith to your leaders. Our job is to make the practical details clear and the giving trustworthy.

One team

Church website development and design for every faith community

A place of worship's site has to feel like your community and keep working when hundreds log in for a festival stream.

Design

  • Listening first: we meet your pastor, priest, trustees or committee to learn the tradition and who the site must serve.
  • Timings up front: service, mass, aarti, darshan or prayer times on the home page, with changes for festivals and holy days.
  • Respectful visual language, with imagery, colour and type that suit your tradition, chosen alongside your leaders rather than lifted from a stock template.
  • Clear routes for newcomers, regular members, families booking a rite and donors who live far away.
  • Readable, accessible pages for elderly members, with large text, strong contrast and simple navigation.

Development

  • Live stream embeds from YouTube or Facebook, with an upcoming-stream banner and an archive that fills itself.
  • Sermon, pravachan and katha archives with audio, video, series and speaker filters, plus podcast feeds where you want them.
  • Online giving and dakshina through Razorpay or Stripe, with automatic receipts that carry 80G details where your trust is eligible.
  • Puja, seva, baptism, wedding and hall booking with date slots, offerings set by your committee and confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
  • An events calendar and CMS your volunteers can update from a phone, on fast WordPress or Next.js builds.

The people who design your pages also build the stream, booking and giving features, so nothing is lost between what your committee approves and what goes live.

What we build

Church website design services for every tradition

Six things we build for places of worship. Most communities start with two or three.

  • Church and parish websites

Service and mass times, ministries, groups, sermons and events for churches of every denomination, from catholic parishes to independent fellowships.
  • Temple websites

Darshan and aarti timings, history pages, festival calendars and puja or seva booking for mandirs, derasars and gurudwaras.
  • Live streaming and media archives

Weekly services, festival celebrations and sermons streamed live, then filed automatically by date, series or speaker.
  • Online giving and donations

Tithes, offerings, dakshina, sadaqah and building-fund gifts by UPI or card, with a receipt sent straight after payment.
  • Puja, seva and event booking

Book a puja, sponsor an annadaan, reserve the community hall or register for a retreat, with slots and offerings your committee controls.
  • Redesign & maintenance

Redesigns that keep your existing links and search presence, plus festival updates, security patches, backups and help when a stream misbehaves.

Timings, streams & giving

Timings, live streams and giving that work for the whole community

Temple website design and church sites share the same four jobs. Get these right and the rest of the site falls into place.

Timings that stay current

Regular schedules are set once, festival changes override them on the right dates, and the home page shows today's times.

Streams people can find

A watch live button appears when you go live, the next broadcast is announced in advance, and past services are filed without manual uploads.

Giving with proper receipts

Donors get a numbered receipt by email. If your trust has 80G approval, the receipt carries the details you give us, and your accountant checks the format.

Bookings without phone queues

Families pick a date and rite, pay the offering your committee set and get a confirmation the office sees too. Where prasad is posted, the office gets a dispatch list.
  • Today's service or darshan times on the home page
  • Watch live button tied to your stream
  • Sermon and pravachan archive with search
  • UPI and card giving with instant receipts
  • Puja, seva and hall booking with date slots
  • Directions, parking and accessibility notes

Temples, derasars and gurudwaras

Temple website design for darshan, seva and festivals

A temple's website works on a different rhythm from a church's. Darshan and aarti times shift with the season, and festivals such as Navratri, Janmashtami, Paryushan or Gurpurab bring crowds, special timings and a rush of donations within a few days. Temple website design plans for that: a festival mode that lifts the schedule, live darshan and announcements to the top, and hosting that stays up when everyone opens the stream at once.

Seva and puja booking is usually the most-used feature. Devotees choose the rite, the date and the name in whose honour it is offered, and pay the offering set by the trust. Where prasad is sent by post, we add an address step and a dispatch list. Content can run in Gujarati, Hindi and English, and your trustees decide what may be shown, including photographs of the deity.

Churches and parishes

Catholic church website design and sites for every denomination

Churches tend to need a strong weekly routine on the site: mass or service times, the weekly bulletin, readings or sermon notes, and a clear way to join a small group or ministry. Catholic church website design adds parish-specific needs, such as mass times in more than one language, confession schedules, preparation for baptism, first communion and marriage, and links to the diocese. Protestant, Orthodox and independent churches each have their own patterns.

Giving is the other weekly habit. We set up recurring tithes and offerings, special collections and building-fund appeals, with receipts sent automatically. Sermons are filed by series, speaker and scripture passage, with the latest on the home page for anyone who missed Sunday. Your clergy set the tone and the teaching.

How we work

Our church and temple website process

Six steps from the first meeting to a live site. Step four is a full rehearsal of your streams, bookings and giving before members rely on them.

  1. Step 01

    Listen

We meet your leaders and volunteers and learn your timings, festivals, languages and how people give and book today.

  2. Step 02

    Design

We design the home page, timings, giving and booking flows as clickable prototypes and review them with your committee.

  3. Step 03

    Build

We build the site, load timings, events and past sermons, and connect payments, email and your stream channel.

  4. Step 04

    Rehearse streams & bookings

We run a test stream, make small real donations and bookings, check every receipt and confirmation, and try it all on older phones.

  5. Step 05

    Launch

We go live in a quiet week, never on the eve of a festival, update your Google Business Profile and redirect any old links.

  6. Step 06

    Support

We switch on festival schedules, add sermon series, patch, back up and help when something breaks on a festival morning.

Cost & timeline

Church and temple website cost and timeline

Three common scopes. Each is quoted in writing at a fixed scope before any work begins.

Timings and history pages often need sign-off from several committee members. We agree on one person who approves content in the first week, so the launch doesn't wait on a meeting.

Every project gets a fixed-scope quote in writing before work starts.

FAQ

Church and temple website FAQs

Questions pastors, priests, trustees and volunteers ask us about cost, streaming, giving, bookings and being found.

How much does church website design cost?

A timings and information site for a church or temple starts from about ₹40,000. Live streaming, a media archive and online giving add to that, and booking systems or member logins add more. The cost depends mainly on languages, the size of your sermon archive and how bookings and receipts must work. We give you a fixed-scope quote in writing after one conversation.

How long does a church or temple website take?

An information site usually takes three to five weeks. A site with streaming and giving takes six to nine weeks, and a community platform with bookings ten to sixteen. Committee approvals and gathering history, photos and timings usually decide the pace.

Do you handle both church website design and church website development?

Yes. One team does the church website design and the church website development, including streams, giving and booking. You won't brief one agency on design and then hand over to a separate developer, and you have one person to call when a timing needs changing.

WordPress or a custom build: which suits a church or temple?

Most congregations do well on WordPress. It is affordable to host and volunteers find it easy to edit. A custom Next.js build suits larger temples and churches with heavy festival traffic, detailed seva booking rules, member accounts or an app that shares the same data. Ready-made church platforms exist too, and we will tell you honestly if one fits you better than a custom site.

Will people find our church or temple on Google?

We build fast pages, add Church, HinduTemple or Mosque schema markup and match your Google Business Profile details, so searches for a place of worship nearby, or your temple's name with darshan timings, can reach you. Nobody can promise a ranking, but a clear site and an accurate profile give you a strong start in local search.

Can we accept donations online and send 80G receipts?

Yes. Gifts go through Razorpay or Stripe straight to your trust's account, and each donor gets a receipt by email. If your trust has 80G approval, the receipt can include those details, in the wording your accountant confirms. Eligibility and tax compliance stay with your trust. Foreign donations need FCRA registration, so we switch them on only if you hold it.
