Ad accounts rejected or limited
- The problem
- Crypto ad accounts on Google and Meta get rejected or limited, so a paid-first launch stalls.
- Our fix
- We check each platform's India policy first and build on channels that need no ad approval.
FinTech · Crypto & Web3
Raqbash is a digital marketing agency in Ahmedabad for crypto and Web3 businesses that want growth without hype: registered VDA platforms, blockchain B2B firms and crypto tax educators. We build compliant education content, developer and LinkedIn marketing and moderated communities, using paid media only where platforms permit.
Search behaviour
People approach crypto in India cautiously, checking whether it is legal, how it is taxed and whether a platform is registered. Crypto digital marketing works when it answers those questions plainly and treats paid ads as optional.
Most crypto searches are questions, not purchases. Searchers wary of scams look for registration details, a plain tax explanation and a named team before sharing KYC documents. B2B Web3 buyers differ: CTOs read technical material and compare partners on LinkedIn.
This is the most restricted ad category we handle: accounts get rejected, every ad needs ASCI's disclaimer, and hype costs rankings. Raqbash, a digital marketing agency in Ahmedabad, starts crypto clients with education-led search content and a channel plan built on what platforms allow today, adding paid media only once the India policy is checked.
| Search | Who is asking | What the page must provide |
|---|---|---|
| is crypto legal in India | A first-time user | A neutral explainer citing official sources |
| crypto tax in India 30% calculator | Someone filing taxes | A dated, reviewed tax explanation |
| FIU registered crypto exchange India | Someone vetting a platform | Registration details and the operator's name |
| blockchain development company Ahmedabad | A business buyer | Technical depth and a demo route |
| how to report crypto in ITR | A filer | A dated guide, not personal advice |
Challenges
Crypto marketing stalls at ad access, disclaimers, audience trust or content quality; louder messaging fixes none of them.
Services
Raqbash's five crypto and Web3 services are each built to work even without paid advertising.
Channel playbook
Owned education and B2B channels carry a crypto plan; paid ads sit last because they may be unavailable for India.
Bars show relative priority in a typical plan, not budget shares or results.
Compliance
Crypto ads in India answer to ASCI's VDA guidelines, anti-money-laundering registration and platform policy; Raqbash builds campaigns to respect them, without giving legal advice.
The ASCI Guidelines for Advertising of Virtual Digital Assets (effective 1 April 2022) require: "Crypto products and NFTs are unregulated and can be highly risky. There may be no regulatory recourse for any loss from such transactions." Size and duration rules apply.
Character-limited formats use: "Crypto products and NFTs are unregulated and risky".
VDA ads may not be compared with regulated products, and words such as "currency", "securities" and "custodian" are restricted.
VDA service providers are reporting entities under the PMLA (since March 2023) and must register with FIU-IND.
Content states the 30% tax on VDA income (s.115BBH) and 1% TDS (s.194S) factually, with a review date.
Google's crypto ads policy for India could not be confirmed and must be checked first; Meta requires prior written permission.
Crypto has no specific IFSC licence pathway at GIFT City, so copy never implies one.
Guidance, not legal advice. Rules change. We design campaigns to respect the current position and ask your legal or compliance advisor to confirm anything specific to your organisation. The full set of rules we follow is on our fintech marketing compliance overview.
KPIs & timeline
Crypto marketing is measured in verified users and qualified B2B demand. Education content takes months to compound, and no ranking or ad approval is guaranteed.
A typical pattern, not a promise: results depend on competition, budget and how quickly changes are approved. No one can guarantee rankings or leads.
Month 1–2
Registration confirmed, disclaimers agreed, policies checked, verified sign-ups tracked.
Month 3–4
First explainers published; LinkedIn campaigns and community moderation running.
Month 5–6
Explainers surface for cautious questions; nurture moves sign-ups to KYC.
Month 6–12
Branded search, community quality and demo pipeline grow; paid tests only where policy permits.
Ahmedabad focus
Retail interest in markets runs high in Gujarat, so careful risk messaging matters more here. Ahmedabad also has a growing blockchain-developer community.
GIFT City's IFSC in Gandhinagar is the regulatory sandbox for fintech innovation but offers crypto no specific licence pathway, so our references stay factual. We reach local developers through LinkedIn and technical write-ups, and write risk explainers in plain English and Gujarati.
ITR filing season
Refresh tax and reporting explainers before the 31 July deadline for most individuals.
Before an India launch
Confirm registration, disclaimers and platform permissions before announcing.
When rules or policies change
